If the NAACP desires to have continued growth it should not only print membership expiration on cards, and subscriptions. It should send a 5 line monthly email on a Sunday since that is a day that is significant to the organization with the renewal date and the specific importance to individuals, the nation, and the world.

The movement should be a symphony new ideas, coupled with traditional markers for growth.

The African American struggle for equality has been emotive, on the way here, and since our arrival on the North American Continent. We worship in many ways that has resulted in our diaspora of diversity. 

There are black people in the democratic, and republican party. 

There are ministers that lean democratic, or republican as Americans in our Democracy. Separation of church, and state has allowed us as black people and the nation to be whole, and walk many paths of spirituality, thought, charity, lifestyles in a family, church, or corporate structure with a plurality of viewpoints that informs our faith.

Each one teach one in spirit, or knowledge. You can learn something from anyone.Your valuable time has gone to waste if you don't sense a ministers priority is to save children's spirits which saves the worlds spirit.

Whatever your faith if it doesn't preach live, and let live in the modern world it's incomplete, doesn't add to an environment to learn about, and from each other in the love story of African Americans, national, and world history..

After what Paris experienced, It would seem as though the major merchants JC Penney, Macy's Younkers, H&M, Nordstroms, Harrods, TJ Maxx, Carson Pirie Scott, Chico's, 21 Forever and so on would have an abundance of $10.00 tams / berets in a variety of colors, large & medium sizes if not already. The beret is the symbol of Paris and in solidarity with Parisians due to the Statue of Liberty that stands as one of our best foundation symbols of freedom in the circle of the harbor  & after Prince Nelson Rogers left us, who immortalized the song Rasberry Beret.

Since an Alpins Paris designer created simple elegance loved around the world for eons in the simplest design that looks good on everyone, especially black women sick of baseball caps, & machine knitted untouchable atrocities of creation no doubt to eventually compliment the designs of Cocoa Chanel.

The tam never gets smashed & can go anywhere and be at home. It's an indispensible fashion accessory,

Fashion love can draw out inner strength behind a veil or in the gentle graze of a Summer breeze, wouldn't you agree. C'est la vie!

Black Beauty : Hair Installment One

The black woman is lied to everyday. One critical area is the arena of beauty.

To be a black woman can be down right painful & environmentally chemically permanently scared.

When you have products like Silk Elements, and Amla on black beauty shelves that may permanently damage your hair folicles within a matter of minutes & growth potential forever due some research on Youtube first. If a lying corporation strikes at 50 there goes the sunset. Read the label first.

In addition 20 some things, when you go to buy a $10.00 or $20.00 dollar hair product, be sure the bottle is uniformly smooth & not squeezed in, or bulging slightly, or at all. This means the product is outdated and might have been on store shelves for 3 years or more with ingredients that are not active, and lack what it takes to accent your beauty. Look at all the products on store shelves to satisfy your need for a peaceful selection.

The products might be no good. You might not be able to return them if you toss, or lose your receipt once you walk out the store. Be on guard with every selection, so that your budget works for you, not against you.

Be affirmative in your decisions when miracles go away, $2.00 dollars and dream might be all you have. Maintain a critical eye to select products for your home shelf space.

Lusters old time tested products are usually good bets. So are Bronner Brothers, and Dudleys.

Tresemme has some good conditioner products.

Paul Mitchell Foaming Pomade can be counted on after set hair is dry and every day.

Sebastians line is 75% good. The Laminates spray they once had was a phenomenal dream product til it was discontinued after 2006. Super shiney results after your set hair was dry.

Nexxus Extra gel is a marvelous standby product after you wash and condition to set your hair. Look at the gels closely. Every gel packaged the same is not for you.

Nexxus Oil Infinite Conditioner OK.

Nexxus Emergencee product line - wonderful.

Nexxus Therappe Shampoo is a must have.

Nexxus Boton oil was a good product.

Everything that says Frizz is not for black hair. i.e. Nexxus Frizz shampoo will put you in the frizz zone if African American.

The hair tips for African Americans above are only my suggestions, and should not be followed if you have any doubts.

Marriage Quest: Great American Men

The Marriage Quest and Standards

If your daughter has a lot of respectful platonic relationships with good guys through her developmental years in, and outside the family that love and respect her, and or children, and the universe in general, that she instinctively respects from the love she's shown through actions. She's locked into goodness as a way of life, and might not see evil in action.

Say two great guys take each hand and swing her over puddles, and curbs while they walk up the street with glee as a child! She'll never forget those fellas, or the music they put in her heart, and soul.

Then all children love a merry go round and to be pushed by mentored greatness is a gift that will always be remembered.



If a female child sees greatness when she's young, that's what she'll expect the rest of her life.

To believe all men have the same qualities once enveloped in love will set high standards that allow her to simply cultivate chess, and backgammon partners with a pure love for games, and competition with no rush for a mate in the spiritual belief Prince Charming will appear some day to sweep her off her feet with no plan to lasso her prince, because her character would attract her soulmate like a magnet who would know how to act without prompts to lock him in her grasp.



Selection and love are choices of the heart, not an order depending on the individual.

Some people like being told what to do, and desire directions and so it goes.



It's always the good guys fault when a girl child trusts in men with leadership qualities.

You might want to hitch your wagon, and jump the broom to the utmost. Consider marriage can be a mirage, illusions can be sweet, however 50% reality is required.

Black Beauty : Installment Two

The black woman is lied to everyday one critical area is the arena of beauty.



When Beyonce was in her early 20's she breathlessly told a reporter, "I'm not a pink girl."



At that time if a woman selected something pink, it was more likely to be a pale pink that washes out the complextion of warm skin tones. Now you can get fucia in every shade. It's cool to be pink.

Thank God for the Obama's and Oprah now oranges & rainbow colors are fashionable for the artist inside every citizen of the world.

Yellow is another color that is lovely on the African American woman when its solar or mustard.

Rich tones, chocolate, true browns, tans, and carmels are beautiful colors on the black woman, but can be almost impossible to find.



Fashion trendsetters set a new pace please.



The last Ebony Fashion Fair was in 2006. It would be great to have an encore for this decade, and a fashion renaissance it would be marvelous.

A. Enemies & strangers, translation = liars & nothing personal people.
B. Frenemies
C. Friends
D. Family
E. Whichever one, or all of the above that stands between your love bond.

Be clear with the guy in word or deed that you are a prize, if you perceive he should really see you, and what surrounds you.

Men like to brag.

If it's not clear to him why you're special as a partner it might take some effort on your part to clarify your view of each other to go beyond point A. If not you will

1. Feel the need to walk away.
2. You will walk away without a material symbol of love.
3. If you're not a competitive person be prepared to be alone. Most people need to know you'll climb the highest mountain to for them.

This is the year of the Black Panther in film. The movie the Black Panther appears to be an epic on its way, if so possibly the hope communicated in ironic angst concepts in the film Hollywood Shuffle by Robert Townsend will be realized. Commercials have certainly made a quantum leap in equality in the past 7 months.

There have always been & there will always be proud black people. Some will thrive some see the path to equilibrium and for others it will be too far away.

Favorite stereotypical films My Big Fat Greek Wedding, MiFamilia, Joy Luck Club, Avalon, Godfather series, The Gospel ... and so many others of the unions and disparities in life.
